Does anyone know LegalSounds.com? They’re selling songs for $0.09 apiece and I wonder whether they’re really 100% “legal” or just continuing the legacy of AllOfMp3.com. But despite the “VISA Certified” logo, I don’t feel like finding out…

It IS genuine, don’t know about how legal though. I’ve used it and its amazing – NO restrictions on the useage either, so you can save it hidden away. It is the best “legal” d/ling thing i have ever come across. Highly recommended. And yeah i did use my Visa, and its fine, i spent $20 and got like 10 dollars free d/ls which accounts for about 13 high-quality 192kbps albums :D:D
There is a review on legalsounds on http://www.aom3.org/forums I’ve signed up and it looks good, speed is quick and music catalogue is extensive.
I USE IT ALOT AND THINK ITS GREAT CHEAP AS CHIPS AND WHO CARES IF ITS LEGAL OR NOT IF I CAN DOWNLOAD AN ALBUM FOR ABOUT 60 PENCE INSTEAD OF BUYING ONE FOR 10 POUND THEN IM HAPPY
It’s hardly legal. They’re selling my music on their site which was released under the common creative license, or in other words, free. So basically they’re earning money on stuff that’s available for free.
There are detailed reviews of LegalSounds and many other similar sites at http://www.songboom.com . If you’re interested in these types of sites, take a look there for more info before putting your money on the line – you can get user feedback and see how others rated the site.
Legal. Dont know, Google it for some expert reasoning.
Two arguments:
For young strugling artists and bands its not good if they are not getting royalties.
For mega rich artists, well, Ive recently downloaded the Eagles new cd. Dont think they will be busking in the streets to make up the loss.
A lot of the stuff I like wouldnt be on Legal Sounds. Check out Foy Vance (no relation) on utube or myspace or search Google for his own site.
